Celebrate Earth Day With The World’s Greenest Booze From JuneShine X MatchaBar

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Hofstra chapter.

Earth Day is quickly approaching and is a day for people all over the world to show their appreciation for our planet. Many companies have been taking substantial efforts to “go green” and reduce their carbon footprint. JuneShine and MatchaBar are two companies that are going above and beyond to make the earth a better place one drink at a time!

JuneShine and MatchaBar have collaborated to create the World’s Greenest Plant-Based Alcoholic Beverage, both in color and environmental impact. The drink is a combination of Matcha and Chlorophyllin, in addition to other all-natural and organic ingredients such as coconut, ginger, green tea, honey, cane sugar and jun kombucha.

This green booze is organic, gluten-free and has 6% ABV.

JuneShine has partnered with Chooose to compensate for the carbon footprint of every JuneShine x MatchaBar can sold. This flavor (and all flavors) are brewed in JuneShine’s Scripps Ranch brewery, powered by 100% renewable energy through SDG&E’s EcoChoice.

All ingredients are organic which contributes to regenerative farming. JuneShine donates 1% of all sales to 1% For The Planet, which plants trees to replace the trees used to make their cartons and they use 100% organic ingredients in all of their products.
