Gnocchi used to be one of those Italian kinds of pasta that I used to avoid. That was until I went to Italy, made homemade gnocchi in a cooking and was hooked. Your choice of sauce, garlic bread and a glass of red wine. It's like eating in Tuscany all over again.

6. Oven-Roasted Potatoes

Let your Top Chef persona take over. Throw some thinly sliced potatoes in a pan, go crazy with some seasoning and olive oil. Violà, seasoned potatoes ready to be roasted. If you want your potatoes done quicker, broil instead of roast.
