5 Mouthwatering Reasons to try Area Four this Month

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Harvard chapter.

Area Four, with locations near our friends at MIT in Cambridge and in the South End, serves up cheesy and delightful pizzas. The Boston area has no shortage of great pizza, but Area Four is a unique spot known for more that just classic pizza. The modern and sleek feel, with a delicious and homey menu, makes Area Four a choice date location this February.

1. Free Pizza February

Why try Area Four this month? You could try it any time of the year and the pizza would be just as tasty, but only during February can you get one free mystery pizza with the purchase of any bottle of wine, large cocktail, or growler of beer. The pizza choice will be up to the masterminds in the kitchen, but whatever mystery pizza they serve up is sure to satisfy. This lovable deal is only at the South End location!

2. Clam & Bacon Pizza

Clams aren’t a pizza topping you see on just any pizza delivery menu, but in Boston, we’ll eat seafood any way we can. Prepared with clam sauce, pecorino, hot pepper, and parsley, this dish is delicious and surprising, especially for those who are bored of classic red sauce pizzas. Who knows, maybe this will be the mystery pizza you get for free with a bottle of wine this February!

3. Garlic Knots

I don’t know about you, but before I dig into a big pizza I like to warm up with some bite-sized carbs. These fluffy knots of goodness are loaded with cheese and herbs that will make you feel right at home. Get them as take out for everyone to snack on during your next Bachelor or award show watch party!

4. Cookie Skillet

Available at the South End location, the cookie skillet flavor changes regularly and is served with a heaping pile of ice cream and toppings. There is no better way to finish off a romantic winter date than sharing a warm chocolate dessert served in a rustic skillet. Sharing is caring.

5. Brunch

Brunch? At a pizza place? I know, but just LOOK at that giant sticky bun. Sip a tall glass of Bloody Mary and enjoy the Breakfast Pizza with sour cream potatoes, bacon, cheddar, scallions, and eggs. There are too many intriguing brunch options to try, from the “Hong Kong” rolled egg waffle to the fluffy buttermilk biscuits and gravy. I would be more than happy to third wheel on any brunch date here.
