I always make the mistake of going to my local Whole Foods on Sunday afternoons. It’s so crowded, the line wraps around the hot bar and I end up leaving with approximately $18 more food than I had originally anticipated (whatever, that mac and cheese is worth every penny). But before going to the store, I try to play it smart and make a list. Sticking to the list is clearly challenging for me.
This holiday season, Whole Foods has some holiday snacks and treats to add to the shopping list. I already know I’m gonna have trouble choosing, so I may just add them all. Here’s every Whole Foods holiday season product up for grabs this year.
365 Everyday Value® Dark Chocolate Peppermint Sandwich Cookie – $4.99
I feel pretty confident saying that peppermint is the official flavor of the holiday season. These cookies may (read: will) surpass any attempt you make at baking peppermint cookies yourself.
365 Everyday Value ® Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt Cookie- $4.99
Dark chocolate and caramel sea salt sounds… so adult. Like, please call me by my full name when I eat these and bring me a Woodford on the rocks.
365 Everyday Value® Toffee Popcorn Crunch – $4.99
I’m literally buying new toothbrush heads for my electric toothbrush as I drool over this. Toffee and popcorn will always get stuck in my teeth, but it is so, so worth it.
365 Everyday Value® Drizzled Kettle Corn – $2.99
Yeah, this drizzled kettle corn sounds delicious. I’m bringing it to your party, but please help me lie to everyone and say that I made it.
365 Everyday Value® Candy Cane Pretzel Flats – Dark Chocolate – $2.99
I’m not afraid to admit that I think I’m fancy because I like dark chocolate. That is all.
365 Everyday Value® Candy Cane Pretzel Flats – Yogurt – $2.99
OK, just because this has “yogurt” in it, doesn’t make it exactly healthy. But that doesn’t mean I won’t hoard these in my gym bag for a post-SoulCycle treat.
365 Everyday Value® Peppermint Dark & White Chocolate Bark- $3.99
Again with the peppermint! This stuff is everywhere, but I think it takes its best form added to chocolate bark.
365 Everyday Value® Gingerbread Milk Chocolate Bark – $3.99
OK, if peppermint is the holiday season’s main biddy, gingerbread is its spicy side piece. But take it from me, this bark is addicting.
Whole Foods Market™ Traditional Panettone – $6.99
This type of bread reigns from Milan, so you know it’s chic. I mean, about as chic as bread can be.
Whole Foods Market™ Sweet Balsamic & Cherry Panettone – $6.99
OK, this bread is throwing fire and takes the original panettone up a level. I don’t hate it.
365 Everyday Value® Organic Pink Peppermint Ice Cream Bar – $3.99
I’ll take five of these to go.
Whole Foods Market™ Peppermint Italian Gelato – $5.99
Ice cream, or gelato, is really best enjoyed in the winter time, for two reasons: It doesn’t melt as quickly, and it goes great with pecan pie.
Whole Foods Market™ Eggnog Gelato – $5.99
Something about Eggnog grosses me out, but it’s not the flavor. The flavor is fantastic. I think I’ve just had it in my head since I was a kid that it was disgusting. So anyways, I’ll take it in this gelato flavor.
365 Everyday Value® Apple Pecan Trail Mix – $7.99
Uh, yum! To be real, I’m not much of a hiker, so this trail mix will not see any trails. But it will probably see a sh*t ton of movies on my couch.
365 Everyday Value® Crème Brulee Hazelnuts and Almonds- $7.99
OK, Whole Foods just killed the holiday snack game. K bye.
4&20 Blackbirds Bittersweet Chocolate & Pecan Pie
Make no mistake, 4&20 does not make 420, aka this pie is edible, but not in the way that you might think. It’s just a delicious, amazing, bittersweet chocolate and pecan pie.
