As someone who doesn’t blink an eye when recipes include kale in them, I did a double take at this one. Kale in cookies? A little questionable, I thought. But if kale can go undetected in smoothies, pizza, and other desserts, why not cookies? Enter these chocolate chip kale cookies, thanks to Chocolate Covered Katie.
I learned that the key to not being able to taste the green veggie is by how fine you chop it. If it’s not fine enough, you’ll get huge chunks of kale in every bite, and not even a health nut would enjoy that. These cookies can be dangerous, though. Just because they have kale in them doesn’t mean you need to subject yourself to eating the entire batch alone—but we won’t judge.
