Banana Churro Tortilla Pockets Are the Epitome of Dessert

Love churros but don’t want to put the effort into the cooking process or spend the money buying some? Well then this is the perfect recipe for you. Using basic ingredients you might even have lying around, impress your friends and family with this recipe. Who doesn’t love the crispy, sugary outside of a churro with drizzled Nutella on top and a banana in the middle? If that description does’t make you drool, I don’t know what will. Go ahead and give it a try!

    In a high-sided skillet, add the peanut oil. Turn the burner on to medium and heat for at least 5 minutes. Slice the bananas in half, then slice lengthwise. You should have 8 banana quarters.

    Tightly roll each banana in a tortilla and secure with toothpicks.

    On a plate, combine sugar and cinnamon together.

    Add the wrapped bananas 4 at a time. Fry for 10 seconds on each side of until light brown. Transfer them soon after to the cinnamon-sugar mixture and coat the churros well. Remove the toothpicks. Repeat with the remaining churros.

    Garnish with strawberries and drizzle Nutella on top.
