It is a well-known fact that the 2016 election is a dumpster fire. Whether or not you have decided to who to vote for, historians who have been studying American elections all their lives don’t know if this is a comedy played by God.

Nevertheless, democracy is a powerful and yet, fragile institution, like ourselves. Therefore, to keep your sanity in this very unlikely election, here are the 7 comfort foods you need to eat to keep your head above water.
