Starbucks Is Serving With This Icy Summer Road Trip Drop

Remember chasing down the ice cream truck for a creamsicle or begging your parents for one of those orange push pops? Well, Starbucks has decided to bring your childhood memories back to you in their drink menu. Starting July 28, they’re rolling out with an entire orange cream lineup. A blend of orange and vanilla that’ll be everywhere from cold brew to Frappuccinos, and pairing it with an exclusive merch collab with Southern California brand Dandy Worldwide.

Here’s the tea on the drinks. The Orange Cream Cold Brew takes Starbucks’ signature cold brew and then pours a bright, creamy citrusy layer over it, giving you that needed classic coffee hit with a creamsicle finish. The Iced Orange Cream Latte swaps in Blonde Espresso, milk, and ice for something a little smoother. Certified iced matcha lover? The Iced Orange Cream Matcha may be right up your alley, layering matcha and milk with the same citrus notes for a green-and orange color combo that you already know is going to blow up all over social media. For what might just be the most aesthetic looking drink, the Iced Orange Cream Chai takes the spiced chai that’s already loved and puts citrus twist on it you didn’t even know you needed. And if you happen to be a Frappuccino person like myself, the Orange Cream Frappuccino blends orange and vanilla with milk and ice, gets poured over whipped cream, and finished off with even more whipped cream. It’s giving summer. It’s giving “I need this ASAP.”

The Dandy Worldwide merch collection

The merch collection traces back to Dandy’s “Road Trip” hoodie and fully commits to the bit. The off-white and green colorway coupled with all the road trip themed patches slay like no other. On top of the hoodie, is drinkware perfect for the road, not to mention a hat if you want to complete the whole beach day road trip fit. This is Starbucks and Dandy closing out the summer road trip storyline with something you’ll actually wear after the season ends, and it launches July 28 in select U.S. and Canada Starbucks locations.

Fans already called it

As expected, the internet remains undefeated at sniffing out a collab before it’s officially announced. Not too long ago, co-owner Mia Schank, posted a TikTok in a pink Dandy hoodie, holding what suspiciously looked like Starbucks cups, captioned “you guys aren’t ready for what’s coming.” Even though she didn’t confirm a single detail, the people deduced it almost instantly. Some top comments being “it’s def Starbucks” and “DANDY X STARBUCKS?!?” before anything was announced to be official. Then Starbucks’ own account showed up in the comments and casually wrote “oooh love the green,” which is about as subtle as a neon sign.

Whether you’re in it for the drinks or just want a hoodie that’s perfect in a Corolla, mark your calendar. July 28 just made summer a little hotter with both a new drink obsession and a wardrobe upgrade, and this time nobody’s late to the trend.
