Starbucks Is Releasing A New Pink Bearista Cup

With hot temperatures and vacation time, many people are looking for fun and refreshing ways to beat the heat. Many brands also see this urgent summer need arising and are trying to compete. One of these companies is Starbucks with its exciting new launch.

On the heels of the coffee chain releasing a Bearista cup for the World Cup, the company is now gearing up to create a new addition to the Pink Drink merchandise line. Just in time for summer, the pink Bearista cups with strawberry-topped straws will arrive at select Starbucks warehouses on July 13. 

How do I get the new pink Bearista cup?

Each customer will have a limit to two cups per customer when trying to purchase both in person at Starbucks coffeehouses and online on the Starbucks Shop app. On the Starbucks Shop, Rewards Reserve Members will get early access to the cups starting on July 9 through the new online platform. While the cups will be available in person starting July 13, they will only be available until supplies last.

What does the new Bearista cup look like?

This third addition to the family brings a refreshing blend of colors to the mix. The top of this latest Bearista edition will have a white sports cap with the word Starbucks written across the front in a vibrant pink. The cup will also come with a pastel pink straw that is capped with a deep-pink strawberry on top, perfectly matching the vibe of summer, as pink seems to be a very standout color across the board at the moment. 

First launched in Korea in 2023, the cup quickly caught attention in the United States when it was released in November of last year along with the release of Starbucks’ annual holiday menu. The reaction from the public to this launch was very positive, but also very chaotic. 

With crowds of people camping outside of stores just to get their hands on this cup, many were left without being able to obtain one. Many videos also surfaced online of customers even getting into physical altercations in stores over the limited stock, sometimes with one store only having one or two cups. 

Starbucks has also released the cup in limited drops, adding to the urgency of customers to obtain one when a new line is released. In the United States, Starbucks has only released two lines of the cups. The first being the initial holiday release that caused many brawls and broken hearts, and the following being the recent release of the World Cup edition. 

Both of these cups had the same look — a clear glass bear with the Starbucks logo in the middle of the body and, along with a green top and a white -and-green striped straw. 

The difference between the two, however, was that while the cap for the holiday edition was a green beanie with the Starbucks logo, the World Cup edition had a cap of a green soccer ball with the Starbucks logo as well.

With this new addition to the Bearista line, this pop of color will surely draw a lot of attention and hopefully not too many fights.
