Connaught Place is the ultimate destination where all the Delhites unite. Be it a date night, school reunion, farewell party or a family dinner; there are all sorts of cafes, restaurants, shops, movie theatres and what not to accommodate our needs.
Every time I make plans with my friends who live on the opposite side of the city, CP is the most convenient option, but, is also very expensive. One outing is bound to leave you with great memories and unfortunately, an empty pocket. So, in my quest to keep enjoying the killer vibe of CP and save my pockets from burning, I found the following places which serve food under ₹100.
1. Chai Story
A new addition to CP, Chai Story is a cutesy little cafe that has an enormous menu full of dishes like Maggi, hot dogs, pizzas, pastas and amazing beverages(including chai, duh).

2. Cha Bar
Cha Bar needs little or no introduction as it already has had its fair share of stardom. Apart from pages full of beverage options, they have a wide varieties of burgers, wraps, pastries and what not to satiate your cravings.
Where: N-81, Oxford Bookstore, Connaught Place
3. Jain Chawal Wale
You are missing out on some great street side Indian food if you haven’t been to Jain Chawal Wale. They have Kadhi Chawal, Rajma Chawal, Chole Chawal and a lot of other North Indian delicacies.
Where: P-1/190, Connaught Circus
4. The Lalit Food Truck Company
This food truck is a gem many people don’t know about. With various wraps and pizza slices priced around ₹100, it makes a star appearance on this list.
Where: The Lalit New Delhi, Barakhamba Avenue
5. Embassy Snack Shop
This is a paradise for the shoppers who need to grab a quick bite in the middle of their little adventure. With corn, patties, samosas and grilled sandwiches, this little kiosk is a replica of our school canteens.
Where: D-11, Inner Circle, Connaught Place
6. Cafe Coffee Day
CCD is omnipresent in CP with an outlet in almost every block. Although a fancy coffee can be a little expensive here, on exploring their menu, you will find that munchies and desserts are pretty decently priced.
7. KFC
There’s no chicken lover in this world who hates(or even dislikes) KFC. There are 2 KFC outlets in CP, making it finger licking’ goooood.
8. Chaayos
Chaayos has a strong aroma which any tea lover can identify from miles away. They have Nashta items, that includes keema and vada pav, that go amazingly well with their Signature Desi Chai.

9. Burger Singh
You know Burger Singh is pretty damn cool if you are subscribed to their message services. For those who aren’t, Burger Singh makes Indianised burgers. They have a special under 100 summer menu for all us penny pinchers.

10. Sarvana Bhavan
The crazy amount of people waiting to enter Sarvana Bhavan speak volumes about how it is THE South Indian heaven. With a few items under ₹100, it makes a cut to our list.

11. Gourmet Bunta Bar
It is the perfect bar, featuring our favourite Bunta in a variety of flavours(and Bunta floats), giving us the kick we need on the warm sunny days.

12. Odeon Paan
The famous star Paan has to make an appearance in anything that is even closely related to CP(or food). Their kiosks have crazy varieties of Paan like chocolate, chuski and even fire Paan.

13. Haldiram’s
Haldiram’s is like a revamped food court where you get everything under the same roof. From amazing Chole Bhaturas to Pastas, they have it all.

14. Keventers
With shakes starting at ₹99, Keventers truly is all about serving heaven in bottles.
Where: 1/90, P Block, Daulatram House, Opposite PVR Rivoli
15. Naturals Ice Cream
With ice creams priced at ₹65, Naturals is the perfect place to cool off in the summers(or winters).

16. Jux Pux
This amazing kiosk sells Soups, Sandwiches, Shakes and Frizzy drinks at unbelievable prices. With Maggi priced as low as ₹25, this place nothing but a dream come true in CP.

17. Shakes Square
Shakes Square is the kiosk near Wengers that has shakes, ice cream and snacks that are affordable and delicious!

18. 34, Chowringhee Lane
Rolls are pretty much the fastest, cheapest and tastiest way to fill our stomachs. 34 Chowringhee Lane has been the king of rolls all over Delhi for pretty long and finally have an outlet in CP as well.

19. Kulcha Junction
Just when you think nothing more can be done with the plain and simple kulcha, Kulcha junction slaps you on your face with its menu and presents to you over 10 types of Kulchas.

20. Dunkin’ Donuts
These sweet rings are the perfect solution to uplift your mood on bad(and good) days.

21. Chai Point
Chai Point is cute chai place which has chai(both hot and iced) and snacks including Maggi, Omelette, Samosas, Poha and even desserts.

22. DePauls
DePauls is a cold coffee heaven with flavoured coffees and milk shakes.

23. Wenger’s
Wenger’s has been around for years and is everyone’s favourite bakery. Their new child cafe Wenger’s Deli is doing great and becoming our new favourite with its Waffles, pizzas, pastas, hot dogs and what not!

24. Candies
Candies, available at the numerous Cigarette stalls in CP, are the perfect solution to our on-the-go munching needs.
25. Momos and Street Food
There are tons of street food and momos vendors all through the inner and outer circles of CP. These are cheap and well, street food never really can go wrong.
Once you start exploring the streets of Connaught Place, you will figure out how amazingly versatile options of food are available in this circle located in the heart of Delhi!
