Apparently, claiming to be skilled in the art of pancake making on OkCupid is a surefire way to land a date.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
Dash of vanilla extract
2 bananas
Maple syrup and powdered sugar for serving
Directions:
1. In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda and set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and egg.
3. Add the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until combined.
4. Add the melted and cooled butter and vanilla extract.
5. Heat a greased medium-sized saute pan on a medium-high heat. Add 1/4 cup of the batter and let sit for 2 minutes without touching.
6. Add the sliced banana.
7. Flip the pancake once the edges are lightly golden.
8. Cook for 2-3 minutes on the second side.
9. Serve with Maple syrup, chocolate chips and enjoy!
