What You Should Study in College- Based on Your Brunch Order

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UVM chapter.

Brunch can be a point of contention for many people. Do you opt to order breakfast foods, lunch, or a little bit of both? Do you go for a Bloody Marry, mimosa, or just a coffee? Whether you realize it or not, your brunch order says a lot about you. Here’s what you should consider studying, based on your brunch order!

Eggs Benedict: Finance

If you order eggs benny at brunch, you clearly have your life together.

Waffles: Art History

Waffles are one of those foods that are just ~interpretive~ and well-liked by many. Similarly, art history will test your knowledge and your cultural skills- you’re in for a treat!

Bloody Mary: History

If you’re drinking a Bloody Mary, you obviously want to make a statement.

French Toast: Biological Sciences

French Toast is one of my favorite foods because of how versatile it is. If you’re a bio-science major, chance’s are that you enjoy studying the smallest bacteria to the largest animal.

Breakfast Burrito: Environmental Science

Environmental science encompasses a wide range of topics from air to soil to water. If you love breakfast burritos, you’ll love the variety of fields you can study within ENSC!

Avocado Toast: Psychology

I don’t want to say psychology is the most basic college degree you can get, but if the shoe fits…

Latte: English

Nothing says #coffeeshopvibes like a good book!

Hash Browns: Business

If you want a side of hash browns for breakfast, you value the timeless and traditional things in life. You’re blunt and to the point, which would make you awesome in a business field.

Omlette: Criminal Justice

Nothing is ever the same for a criminal justice student, and neither is this breakfast classic.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes: Early Childhood Education

If you like chocolate chip pancakes, you’re obviously a fan of the sweeter things in life. These breakfast treats are youthful and nostalgic!

Mimosa: Social Work

Mimosa lovers are spontaneous individuals with enough spark to light up a room!

Just a Plain Coffee: Computer Science

A humble, yet admirable, choice.

Breakfast Sampler: Geography

Variety is the spice of life- especially in the form of eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, pancakes, and possibly french toast?

Club Sandwich: Mathematics

Although it might seem a little non-traditional when it comes to brunch options, a club sandwich is a somewhat traditional option for people who are a little bit uncomfortable with eating pancakes at noon.

Crepes: Nutrition & Food Sciences

Crepes don’t get enough credit. They’re diary. yet robust and can be filled with almost anything from eggs to Nutella & berries.
