Harry Potter movie marathons on ABC were a key highlight of my adolescence. I remember hearing the familiar theme music blasting from the TV room and promptly running in to try and guess which movie was playing. I’m certainly impartial to the Goblet of Fire (because Robert Pattinson, duh), but any Harry Potter movie is really the perfect way to end a day. Here are some yummy snack ideas for your next Harry Potter movie marathon!
Butterbeer Cupcakes
It wouldn’t be a Harry Potter movie marathon without Butterbeer involved! If you’re not a fan of cupcakes, check out these butterbeer cookies!
Witch’s Broomsticks
Brooms are an essential part of the wizarding world. Pick up these three-ingredient ones today!
Treacle Tart
Treacle tart is a British dessert similar to American pecan pie- just without the pecans. It’s decadently sweet and can be served with tea or ice cream! If you want to make this recipe in a more snack-sized format, try using a muffin tin or small (oven-safe) ramekins.
Golden Snitch Cake Pops
You might have thought cake pops died out a couple years ago, but I can assure you that they make a great addition to your Harry Potter watch party!
Chocolate Frogs
You’ll just need melting chocolate and these frog molds!
Pollyjuice Punch
This recipe is kid-safe, but I would suspect someone could find some way to make it boozy.
Sorting Hat Cookies
Are you a Ravenclaw at heart? Only these cookies can tell. You can add a special surprise by filling the center of the cookie with colored filling to “sort” yourself into a house!
