If you want to get noticed on USC’s campus there’s one secret to being successful, offer some free food. Studyhub, a partnership between Spoon University and Grubhub decided to bless USC students with some free swag, #eeeats, and a chance to escape the madness of midterms.
Posted up on the corner of Hoover and Jefferson outside of Hillel, the space was sure to get noticed as people are walking too and from campus. Even though it was hot outside everyone that came was able to cool off with some free coffee, and chill out with some free massages.
Food
Over 250 USC students stopped by for some La Colombe coffee and some free donuts from Downtown Donuts. The perfect pick-me-up for between midterm study sessions!
Swag
Courtesy of both Spoon University and Grubhub, Studyhub gave students lunchbags, popsockets, laptop stickers, and spoon pens. It was clear that everyone enjoyed the swag because there was almost none left at the end of the 2 hour event.
Laugh
The next key to the event was the slow-mo video booth. It provided a laugh for everyone that used it. The pretzel wall provided by Auntie Anne’s was the perfect backdrop for an event focused on the food. The event provided students a chance to escape the stress and laugh away the worries.
Relax
What would an escape from midterms be without some free massages? We had two masseuses on hand that allowed students to truly escape the never ending stress that is midterms.
Overall, Studyhub gave us all a chance to escape the stress of SC midterms and enjoy some free coffee and donuts. Spoon USC’s chapter was so happy to be able to host this event for USC students and we can’t thank Grubhub and Spoon University enough!
