We Tried Making Our Own Funnel Cake and It Was a Definite Win

With summer coming close to an end and fairs dwindling, we wanted to try making our own Funnel Cake Sundaes so we could enjoy this treat all year long while saving some bank.  We saw some recipes online and our initial inspiration was to go for something like this.

Here’s the recipe of what we used to make the funnel cake itself.

    Sift all the dry ingredients together. Then, mix egg and milk.

    Pour batter through funnel or if you don’t have a funnel, you can make one by cutting a small slit through a Ziploc bag like we did. Put the batter in a spiral motion into pan filled with 1u0022 hot oil.

    Fry until golden brown, turning once, and remove from pan.

Next, add powder sugar, ice cream, or whatever your heart desires. We chose Brownie Bits Ice Cream and it definitely did the trick. Enjoy!
