Last Minute Holiday Cinnamon Apple Crescent Rolls

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UIUC chapter.

Every year at Thanksgiving dinner it is likely to see the same dishes time after time: turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie. Sometimes, a little change in a recipe can make all the difference.

Pillsbury crescent rolls are a holiday staple. The warm, flakey rolls that, according to commercials, are so popular that mom has to bring out a second batch. While the classic crescent is still delicious, there are so many ways to alter it and make unique dishes.

For the holiday season, cinnamon and apple crescent rolls are a tasty way to transform the original roll into a sweet and buttery delight that can be served as an appetizer, side dish or dessert. This recipe is extremely doable for anybody to bake, making it a great dish for the kids to make while the real cook is busy with the turkey.
