Try These Not-So-Fried Butternut Squash Fries

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UFL chapter.

In an effort to eat a little healthier and prolong the fall months, I recently got into butternut squash recipes. When I’m not scouting out fun, new foods at Trader Joe’s or perusing Pinterest for recipe inspiration, I make up my own recipes. This one, albeit simple, is my absolute favorite.

You don’t have to be a chef to make this — in fact, there’s not much cooking involved here. I call them my butternut squash fries, but it’s not actually a fried dish. I like to whip up these bad boys for dinner or a late lunch — they make for the perfect side.
