Being on a low-carb diet is not easy. I miss my bread, pasta, and most of all my sugary Starbucks coffee. Now that the holidays are upon us, the best Starbucks holiday drinks are out and I am in holiday hell! Using my ingenuity and passion for coffee, I created a low-carb peppermint mocha using Jordan’s Skinny Syrups.
I am proud to say I didn’t cave to the temptation of holiday spirit. Will I later on for Christmas? Probably, but until then I will stay strong. This peppermint mocha will definitely hold me (and you) over until then.
Low-Carb Peppermint Mocha
Ingredients
Instructions
First, just make the coffee. You may not realize, but this is most important step because it can’t just be any coffee. It needs to be one of your favorites because this is your foundation—the foundation of your day (or afternoon, depending on you).
Mix the Jordan’s Skinny Syrups Peppermint Mocha, half u0026 half, Hersey’s Cocoa: Natural Unsweetened, and Stevia in the Raw.
#SpoonTip: The measurements of the ingredients were the perfect balance for me. Feel free to add more or less of anything.
Slap on some Cool Whip and sprinkle that cocoa for some pizazz. You are done! Your low-carb, (almost) sugar-free peppermint mocha is done. Who needs Starbucks?
#SpoonTip: If you want to add some more pep(permint) in your step, feel free to add some Baileys Irish Cream. Keep in mind this will change the calories and carbs factor.
