Healthier Chocolate Brownies Are Made With Natural Fats Instead of Canola Oil

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UFL chapter.

You may have entered the new year with the resolution to eat healthier, but luckily for you, these healthier chocolate brownies do not have to be left in 2016. Made from healthy alternatives that include applesauce, maple syrup, and — most excitingly — avocados, this recipe fits great with your “New Year, New Me” promise.

While typically spread on toast, mashed it into guacamole, or used to top off eggs, avocados have proven to be a fan favorite when it comes to healthy snacks, and these brownies are no exception.
