This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UFL chapter.

Bright colors, especially green, and the season of spring both come to mind when you think of the month of March. Springtime makes everything a bit cheerier and brighter, especially when it comes to the desserts. One of my favorite dessert drinks to make for any occasion or type of weather is hot chocolate.

Because spring is right around the corner, a green dessert idea came to mind that I knew I had to share. This grasshopper hot chocolate is a simple white hot chocolate turned green with a minty twist that is both sweet and delightful.

This drink is sure to brighten up your hot chocolate game and become your new favorite way to drink your chocolate. Here’s an easy recipe to show you how to make your own grasshopper drink — whether it’s a year-round favorite or just a seasonal special for the upcoming months of spring.
