Recently, Pizza Hut launched its brand new open-kitchen flagship store in Delhi near PVR Anupam in Saket. This means that our favorite pizza outlet got a makeover (time to rejoice!). Along with their logo, a number of things have been updated such as the vibrant interiors and the range of crusts.
However, what stood out for me at the new store was the open-format kitchen which enabled me to get a load of the freshly baked pizza in the oven. It is a different experience altogether to witness the dough rising, cheese melting, and the pizza getting baked to perfection.
Ambience
A single glance of the modern and dynamic interiors is enough to impress you. They reciprocate equal amount of love for pizza. The charming decor with posters and text reading “Pizza Is Art” is what precisely sets the vibe.
The interiors are tastefully done, and the choice of music adds pleasure to your meal. You can sit here with your friends or by yourself and enjoy the free WiFi or use the convenient charging points in the store. To add a pinch of authenticity to the interiors, the railing of the staircase is lined with rolling pins.
Food
We kicked off with a few starters and drinks which built our appetite for cheesy pizzas awaiting us. The cold coffee and masala lemonade refreshed us as every sip was overloaded with zest and satisfaction. The spicy baked chicken wings were our ticket to paradise. Perfectly marinated chicken wings baked to an ideal crisp in conjunction with rejuvenating beverages left us bewitched.
We were introduced to the star of the evening, stuffed crust pizza, and oh boy, it swept us right off our feet! The pizzas were undoubtedly lip-smacking with freshly rolled out dough, herbed flavorful sauce, and mozzarella cheese, gratifying our senses, one bite at a time. We were served a variety of pizzas, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian topped with freshly chopped onion, olives, tomatoes, baby corn, red paprika, chicken tikka and what not.
No meal is complete without dessert. Pizza Hut supported our belief by presenting the largest and the most delicious cookie topped with two generous scoops of vanilla ice-cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. The warm and crumbly texture of the cookie was well balanced by the smooth and cold ice-cream. The dessert obviously stole the show because it was one of a kind and definitely a value for money.
Final Thoughts
The cheesy goodness, lively ambiance, friendly staff and the lovely atmosphere is what sets this place apart. Their new range of stuffed crust pizzas and cracker thin crust pizzas are a delight to our taste buds. We were a fan of Pizza Hut anyway, and the refurbish gives us all the more reason to visit every week.
