This Berry Sorbet Sundae Is the Dessert Version of an Açaí Bowl

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UCSB chapter.

Açaí bowls are everywhere. Especially Instagram. Though they are photogenic, they cannot replace real dessert. So here we’ve decided to create an berry sorbet sundae, full of real sorbet ice cream and delicious sweet toppings. So while your friends pretend their bowl of fruit is as satisfying as a sundae, you can whip this up and prove them wrong.

Instructions

  1. acaigif1

Spoon out as much of the pint of berry sorbet as you would like (probably all of it) into a bowl.

  2. acaigif2

Add sprinkles of graham cracker bits, sprinkles, and Oreo bits.

  3. acaigif3

Now get creative. Decorate carefully with mu0026ms, banana slices, fruit snacks, or any other toppings that add to the aesthetic of your bowl.

  4. acaigif4

Add some more delicious toppings, such as brownie bits and white chocolate chips.

  5. acaigif5

Finish it off with a cherry on top. (But not a real cherry, this is dessert.)
