Candy corn is the quintessential Halloween candy, which is why candy corn Jell-O shots are necessary for your Halloween celebration. These are perfect for parties, kickbacks, and binge-watching Halloweentown reruns. Though candy corn tastes like pure sugar to me, I’ve reimagined it for this recipe with orange Jell-O and whipped cream flavors.
If you prefer Jell-O to Jell-O shots, you can substitute the 3/4 cup of cold vodka for cold water. You can also use plastic shot glasses instead of lemon peels if you’re strapped for time.

Instructions

Halve the lemons and hollow out the peel.

Pour the Jell-O mix into a large bowl.

Boil a cup of water and add it to the Jello-O mix and stir until the mix is dissolved.

Add 3/4 cup of cold vodka and 1/4 cup of cold water to the mix. Stir well.

Use a ladle to transfer the mixture into the lemon halves.

Refrigerate for about 3 hours.

Cut the lemon halves into quarters. Then cut the quarters into eighths.

Add whipped cream on top of the Jell-O shots and serve.
