This Golden Milk Is The One Thing You Should Drink When You’re Sick

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UCF chapter.

Turmeric is commonly used around the world for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant powers – and that’s only the beginning of what the little spice can do. It may not be simple to incorporate into your everyday diet, but this ‘golden milk’ makes it even easier. Thick and creamy coconut milk is mixed with a few spices (turmeric included), providing the perfect remedy to counter that terrible cold that’s keeping you in bed all day.

#SpoonTip: If coconut milk really isn’t your scene, you can sub any milk instead.
