These Chocolate-Dipped Peanut Butter Cheez-It Sandwiches Taste Just Like Butterfingers

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UCF chapter.

Even though I rarely buy candy bars, I have a love/hate relationship with Butterfingers. They’re crunchy, sweet, and actually take a bit of jaw power to chew down, which means you can actually enjoy all of the textures that the hunk’a chocolate has to offer.

Fortunately, if you’re too damn lazy to walk to the nearest store and buy a pack of fun-sized, you can easily make your own Butterfingers with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. It may sound a little weird, but the Cheez-Its, peanut butter, and chocolate actually taste good together. Really good.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring after every 30 seconds. Once it’s smooth, dip each Cheez-It sandwich halfway in the chocolate.

Let the sandwiches sit for 30 minutes at room temperature. Alternatively, you can stick them in the fridge for 10 minutes if you’re impatient AF and want them right away.
