The name Downtown Disney is dead, and so is the inevitable boredom you would usually find after circling the same restaurants throughout the course of one day. The free tourist attraction is now called Disney Springs, and even though it’s been renamed for a few months now, the area has been continuously adding new shopping centers and restaurants. Here are just a few eateries that opened recently that are definitely worth checking out and sure to fulfill each and every one of your cravings.
1. Amorette’s Patisserie

Amorette’s is a French dessert shop, carrying a variety of cookies, macarons, cakes, and everything in between. They even have a handful of drinks for you to enjoy, including sippable chocolate ganache flavored with Chantilly. Hell yes.
2. D-Luxe Burger

This is Disney’s approach to the gourmet burger craze, and with toppings like pimento cheese and fried banana peppers, they seem to know what they’re doing. Also, be sure to try their gelato milkshakes and their red velvet burger macaron (I know, right?).
3. Sprinkles

The Cali-originated bake shop was one of the first cupcakeries to pop up in America, and now it has a new home in Orlando. Their cupcake ATM dispenses any cupcake you wish – even gluten-free. Thank god for being in the 21st century.
4. Vivoli Il Gelato

There’s nothing quite like a nice gelato after a long day of shopping under the Florida sun. The shop originated in Italy, so their fresh gelati and drinks are truly authentic. If you’re still hellbent on enjoying American classics, go for their gelato banana split, or as they call it, cialda ripiena. You won’t regret it.
5. B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co.

Named after the infamous villain from The Three Little Pigs, this kiosk serves up artisan sausages, from Bavarian to Portuguese. Super convenient if you want to satisfy your hunger and keep exploring the Springs simultaneously. And yep, that’s a pretzel bun.
6. STK Steakhouse

Not many people come to Disney looking for a steakhouse, but if you’re one of those that do, STK is the perfect choice. It may be a bit on the pricey side, but you’re definitely paying for quality meat here. Besides, there’s rooftop seating. How can you say no? Instagram AF.
7. Aristocrepes

Looks like the House of Mouse knows how to hop on to the latest food crazes. Crepes are taking the world by storm, and Aristocrepes (yes, named after The Aristocats) is fully aware of it. They have both savory and sweet, so if you’re craving both, you can do the damn thing and get both. With fillings like smoked salmon and key lime cheesecake, you kinda have to.
8. The Daily Poutine

The growing obsession with poutine (or really, just smothering anything in gravy) has finally caused Disney to open up their own kiosk serving variations of the beloved Canadian treat. The only difficult part is choosing which flavor to get. Why go with a classic poutine when there’s also Italian, Latin, and French? Decisions, decisions.
