We’re always looking for creative ways to get our drink on. Whether its binge-eating wine ice cream or pregaming with vodka gummy bears, we’ll basically do anything to avoid throwing back shots of vodka. With this Jello shot recipe, you can enjoy an afternoon snack and get your buzz on at the same time. It’s that simple.
Fruit Wedge Jello Shots
Ingredients
Instructions
Heat 1 cup of water until boiling. You can either do this on a pot over the stove or in the microwave.
Pro Tip:Put a wooden stick or spoon in the bowl of water while in the microwave to give the water something to form bubbles on.
Add the boiling water to the Jello powder and mix.
Add cold vodka and mix.
Cut oranges in half.
Use a spoon or a knife to carve out the inside of the orange.
Pro Tip: The closer you place the spoon/knife to the rind, the easier it is to carve.
Cut lemons and limes “hot dog style” (so you can cut them into wedges later).
Scoop out the inside of lemons and limes with a knife or a spoon.
Hollow out the inside of the strawberries with a knife.
Fill oranges, limes, lemons and strawberries with jello and refrigerate for about 2-4 hours.
Once gelatin has formed, cut them into beautiful wedges.
Share with your friends and get drunk.
