We’re taking the college student diet to the next level. It may require a little extra effort in the kitchen, but I promise it will be worth it. Our diets usually consist of one (or more) of the following: salad, alcohol, and pizza. Who says you can’t get a little protein with your pizza rolls? Here at Spoon University, you’ll always be a winner when you’re eating one of these with or without a glass of wine. I also trust you to handle a hot oven without burning yourself.
You’re Not Living Until You’ve Had These Chicken Parmesan Pizza Rolls
Ingredients
Instructions
Roll out your pizza dough and cut into six strips.
Cut cooked chicken strips in threes to get six chicken nuggets. #SpoonTip: Pop them in the oven to let them crisp up golden brown as you prep the dough.
Take a strip of dough (portioned into squares now) and place a piece of chicken strip. Add a spoonful of pizza sauce and a handful of shredded cheese for that cheesy melt. Then top it off with a piece of pepperoni and wrap it up!
Place pizza rolls on a baking tray with aluminum foil and some cooking spray. Add some more cheese and pepperoni on the top.
Bake these rolls at 425°F for 12-15 minutes until dough is golden brown and cheese has melted.
Let them cool for a bit and enjoy them with a side of pizza dipping sauce!
