Green Tea Pound Cake Is a New Twist on a Classic Flavor

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at U Chicago chapter.

Sometimes I crave Asian flavors that I don’t often get in college; one of them is green tea. Sure, I can brew a cup of green tea and call it a day, but that wouldn’t be much fun. It’s also super fun to bake, but our lives are so busy nowadays that it seems hard to set aside time to whip up something fancy.

So what can strike the perfect balance of ease, green tea matcha-ness, and tastiness? Voila! Green tea + pound cake = bliss.
