The Easiest String Bean Recipe

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Texas chapter.

Growing up, we were always told to eat our vegetables. Our parents told us that eating veggies would help us grow, give us strong muscles and make us smarter. Now in college, it’s up to us to make sure we’re actually eating them.

Frozen vegetables are probably the most convenient option: quick, easy and cheap. But they can also be bland, soggy and just not so good. Luckily, cooking vegetables doesn’t have to be boring or hard. With this easy and quick recipe, you can have a tasty vegetable loaded with different flavors and spices.

These will taste just as good the next day too, and if string beans aren’t your favorite, replace them with broccoli, zucchini, cherry tomatoes or practically any other vegetable.
