This French Toast Egg-in-a-Hole Makes Getting Out of Bed Bearable

Let’s be honest, it’s about time that you started combining more breakfast foods like french toast and eggs. Sure, you’ve had both of them in the same meal before, but never like this! Now the egg is actually in the center of your french toast. Yeah, I know right? It’s super easy, but it’s still freaking awesome.

French Toast Egg-in-a-Hole

    Mix sugar and cinnamon together on a plate.

    Melt the butter on a skillet.

    Use a shot glass to make a hole in your toast.

    Whisk an egg with milk and salt. Then, dip the bread and cut-out hole in the egg and remove.

    Heat bread on skillet until golden.

    Coat bread in cinnamon sugar on both sides.

    While on oil-coated baking pan, crack eggs and drop yolk into the toast holes. Bake 325°F 15-18 minutes.

    Serve with a whole lot of syrup.
