These 2-Ingredient Red Velvet Ice Cream Sandwiches Only Take 5 Minutes to Make

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at TCU chapter.

Before, it seemed like we were limited to the Valentine’s Day season when it came to getting our hands on some red velvet products. But now it seems like the game has changed and Chips Ahoy is surely following the trend.

The craze over red velvet products has only heightened over the years thanks to Oreo’s red velvet cookie (which you can totally DIY, by the way – thanks, Spoon), red velvet ice cream, and red velvet Pop-Tarts. There is even a red velvet hair color. Yep.

Chips Ahoy has many other cookies, but of course, it has to keep up with the competition. So they released their very own red velvet cookie. Oh, and it’s perfect.

Yes, it has a creamy cream cheese inside. If that’s not #foodporn, I don’t know what is.

But I’m not going to just tell you that these cookies are good and you should go buy them. Because what fun is that? No, I’m going to tell you what you have to do once you buy them. The best way to eat these cookies is via the form of an ice cream sandwich.

#SpoonTip: However, if you want to eat them solo, you have to eat them slowly and cherish the flavor as it dissolves in your mouth. I promise it’s 10x better.
