5-Ingredient Baked Pear Recipe Perfect for Chilly Afternoons

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at TCU chapter.

Say goodbye to American apple pie and breathe in the sweet scent of baked pears. You may be skeptical, but pears are easy to cook with and are a great alternative when you are pressed for time.

Plus, with fall right around the corner these baked pears are a sure crowd-pleaser. They are sophisticated, but simple to make. If you’re craving something heartwarming and sweet, turn to the apple’s better looking cousin: the pear.

I enjoy exploring all things artistic and edible. I also second G. K. Chesterton's observation that, "Poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese."
