How to Make Hot Chocolate Stuffed Churro Bombs

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at TCU chapter.

I’m in loooove with the cocoa. The classic hot chocolate is easily the top 5 favorite drink of every human. Warm marshmallows stuffed with oozing chocolate bundled in a Pillsbury biscuit cloud and deep fried? These bombs are actually bomb.

Warm the milk in the microwave about 2 minutes, checking every minute to make sure it doesn’t boil over.

Place the chocolate chips in a bowl, then pour the hot milk on top of the chocolate chips. Let the milk sit for 2 minutes and stir until the chocolate is combined.

Pour the hot chocolate mixture into ice cube trays and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Heat oil in a large pan (enough to fry the balls) and place paper towels on a plate and set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon and set aside.

Cut the frozen hot chocolate cubes into 2 or 4 (depending on what you think is best).

Cut a hole inside a large marshmallow and stuff the chocolate cube inside.

Slice the biscuits in half, roll out, and wrap the dough around the marshmallow, creating a perfectly shaped ball.

Fry the biscuit balls about 5-6 minutes, until golden brown and place on the paper towel to soak up any excess oil.

Roll the balls in cinnamon sugar mixture and enjoy! Be careful when you eat these because they’re gonna be hot.
