This Fancy Apple and Brie Grilled Cheese is Actually Super Easy to Make

This is most definitely not your typical grilled cheese. It tastes as if apple pie and baked brie had a baby in the form of a sandwich. If one bite doesn’t send you straight to grilled cheese heaven, I don’t know what will.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4 minutes
Total Time: 9 minutes

Serving Size: 1 sandwich

Ingredients:
2 slices sourdough bread
6 tablespoons salted butter
4 slices Brie cheese
1 Granny Smith apple
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
1. Slice Granny Smith apple.

2. Slice Brie.

3. Turn on stove to medium heat.

4. Melt two tablespoons of butter in frying pan.

5. Place apples in frying pan.

6. Add Cinnamon.

7. Add Nutmeg.

8. Stir your ingredients.

9. Lower heat, cover and let simmer.

10. Slice bread.

11. Butter each side of bread.

12. Add cooked apples and cheese to bread.

13. Grill both sides of bread until it is a nice golden brown.

14. Cut and enjoy.
