12 Delicious Mocktails, Spritzers, and Sodas to Bring in Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Seattle U chapter.

I’m a huge fan of fruity drinks because of their sweet flavors and aesthetically pleasing looks. Every spring/summer I look up some recipes for a warm day so I can pretend I’m sitting poolside drinking a Pina Colada while in reality, I’m actually sitting inside watching Netflix ’cause it’s just too hot. However, most of these drinks tend to be alcoholic and because I’m not quite of legal drinking age, I have been searching for best non-alcoholic versions of these drinks for those of you like me, or for those who aren’t big drinkers. Anyways, I hope you enjoy these 12 Delicious Mocktails, Spritzers, and Sodas.

Breakfast Mocktail

A drink that’s both tangy and light, making it perfect for breakfast or brunch. Get it here.

Rosemary Citrus Spritzer

The rosemary and honey create a sweetness while the lemons and oranges add a refreshing tartness. A perfect blend.

Grapefruit Rosemary Mocktail

Not only is the pink color really pretty but the sweet and sour taste of the rosemary and grapefruit is a nice mix.

Hibiscus Ginger Punch

Look at how beautiful a jar of hibiscus punch is. The flavor is sweet and tangy and is reminiscent of a cranberry.

Maple and Grapefruit Mocktail

Making this is quick and easy and you’ll have a fruity and warm cup of awesomeness at the end. Here ya go.

The Bright and Bitter

The “bright” of the title comes from a delicious blend of fresh juices — cranberry, lemon, and orange. The bitter comes from the non-alcoholic bitters in the recipe which you’ll learn more about when you click here.

Non-Alcoholic Sangria

With this recipe, you can get creative. For the fruit, you can use citrusy flavors like slices oranges, lemons, and limes, or you can try sweeter fruits like strawberries, pineapple, and grapes. Wait a few hours and the drink making it both tasty and pretty.

Cherry-Vanilla Soda Syrup

You only need five ingredients for this recipe so it’s super easy and simple to make on a warm spring day. Plus, the serving amount makes it perfect for a party.

Grapefruit Honey-Ginger Soda

The soda is sweetened with honey and the ginger and grapefruit create a bittersweet, spicy taste. Find it here.

Strawberry Basil Soda

Spring is the best season for strawberries so of course, we need a strawberry soda. It’s amazing, you have to try it.

Rosemary Limeade

Limeade is a staple drink in my family during the warm seasons because it’s extremely refreshing. This recipe is fizzier and richer than your typical limeade drinks, but not so much so that it’s overwhelming. If you want it, take it.

Pina Colada

My all-time favorite drink. I’m addicted to pina coladas and try to order it every time I go out. It’s a little ridiculous. If you’re like me, make this recipe as soon as possible.
