How to Make Your Own Donut Grilled Cheese 3 Ways

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at San Diego chapter.

Donuts are the ultimate guilty pleasure and grilled cheeses are more comforting than the arms of your mother. So naturally, putting the two together seemed like a no-brainer to me.

As I was scrolling through Instagram on National Donut Day, I came across the restaurant chain Tom + Chee, home of the donut grilled cheese. Unfortunately for me, the closest Tom + Chee was halfway across the country. Inspired by their brilliant combination of donut and cheese, I decided to recreate the donut grilled cheese three different ways.

These donut grilled cheeses are quick, easy, and unique. Satisfy your sweet and savory cravings in one bite with a donut grilled cheese.
