Peanut butter cups are by far the most sought after of the Halloween treats, but are also the most elusive. You can never go wrong when you put chocolate and peanut butter together and this recipe is the epitome of this combo. So skip the trick or treating and just make these yourself.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Ingredients
Instructions
Line muffin tin with cupcake liners or spray with cooking spray.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the crushed graham crackers, softened butter, powdered sugar, and peanut butter (I microwaved the peanut butter for about 20 seconds to make it easier to mix).
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, stirring 30 seconds at a time until smooth.
Add a heaping teaspoon into the bottom of each cupcake liner and spread along the bottom. Let set in fridge.
Spread a heaping tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate.
Add a heaping teaspoon of the melted mixture to the chocolate and spread evenly over the peanut butter layer.
Refrigerate for about an hour until set and firm.
Enjoy!
