How to Make Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Rhodes chapter.

So if you’re like me, you prefer to eat food rather than prepare it. Maybe because you absolutely cannot bake to save your life, or you burn everything that goes in the oven under your supervision. Or even say, for example, you almost burned down your dorm’s common room kitchen trying to bake a cake just because you wanted an excuse to eat icing. No? That’s just me? Anyway, now there is a recipe for all of us who could find a way to burn water. These Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies are super simple, very quick, and absolutely mouth-watering.

Stir in chocolate chips (add more if desired).

Dollop 1-2 tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet about an inch and a half apart (they will expand).

Bake for 10 minutes and then let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for another 2 minutes. The cookies will continue to cook as they cool, so don’t worry if they look too gooey.

#SpoonTip: Take them out of the oven right before they begin to brown.

Transfer cookies to a plate or other cool surface so they do not continue to cook.
