This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at PSU chapter.

It’s been a long school year and we’re all tired, but breakfast is still the most important meal of the day. Venture out from your cereal or toast routine and channel your inner chef. With only 5 ingredients, this is the classiest version of a bacon, egg and cheese you’ll find.

Easy

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
1 egg
1 slice bread
3 tablespoons bacon bites
3 tablespoons sliced tomatoes
3 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese

Directions:

1. Cut a hole in the center of a piece of bread with the use of a cookie cutter, rim of a glass or saltshaker. Place the bread on a heated pan.

Tip: If the cheese has not melted entirely, place in the microwave for 30 seconds.
