Turn Your Week-Old Pizza Into Croutons With This Insane Leftover Hack

You’ll be thrilled to know that a pizza’s legacy is not over even after it’s been left in the refrigerator for a week. Enjoy it cold, reheated or as a breakfast dish with some scrambled eggs on top. It can even be transformed into croutons to add some nice, flavorful “pizzazz” to your salads and soups.

Serving Size: 18-20 croutons

Ingredients:

6 slices of leftover pizza
1 tablespoon of oil

Directions:

1. Stack two pizza slices on top of each other with the toppings on the inside.

2. Cut pizza stack into 1-inch strips, following the edges of the slices. Cut the strips into 1-inch squares.

3. In a pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook the pizza squares until the cheese begins to melt. Flip each crouton and cook until the crust is golden-brown and crispy.

4. Snack immediately or serve in soups and salads.
