The 7 Best Places to Get Sunday Brunch in Oxford

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Ole Miss chapter.

With gorgeous fall weather quickly sweeping through Oxford, college students come out of their dorms or apartments to enjoy the weather. On any “Sunday Funday,” you will find Ole Miss students spread out all across the Downtown Square searching for the perfect brunch spot with friends. Here is your guide to the best Oxford brunch spots to visit this Sunday.

Rafter’s Bluegrass Brunch has become one of the most popular brunch spots in Oxford amongst Ole Miss students over the years. With live music, food, and drinks, you cannot go wrong stopping here!

Proud Larry’s is one of my personal favorite places to Sunday brunch in Oxford, especially on their patio. With a variety of food options on the menu, their brunch has something for everyone to enjoy.

I recommend the Larry Burger and a Bloody Mary off of their menu. $7 may be a little pricey for a bloody, but trust me, they are totally worth it! The Sunday Brunch Bar opens at 11 am.

Locals Resturant & Bar

Locals Brunch is another popular stop for students. With great food and cheap drink prices, Locals makes brunch on the Square affordable. Locals Brunch specials include: $12 bottomless mimosas, $4 bloody Mary’s, and $12 bottomless screwdrivers. Locals Brunch starts at 10 am and ends at 2 pm.

Cabin 82 at the Graduate Hotel

Cabin 82 inside of the Graduate Hotel might not offer drinks or specials, but their Sunday brunch’ is mouthwatering. Cabin 82 offers food items from French toast platters to a hangover breakfast platter. The real perk of eating here is every platter on the menu is under $8, making this super affordable if you are brunchin’ on a budget!

Bottletree Bakery

Bottletree Bakery is a cute cafe-styled breakfast stop. Open from 8 am to 2 pm on Sunday’s, they have a variety of tasty treats and pastries to choose from.

Mesquite Chop House

If you are looking for bottomless mimosas or bottomless bloody Mary’s (like me, because I am obsessed) then Mesquite Chop House is the place for you. With a great outdoor seating area, you can drink from 10:30 am to 2 pm and enjoy the fabulous views. Mesquite also has an AMAZING brunch menu!

Saint Leo

Saint Leo on the Square is a more sophisticated brunch spot. If you are looking to go Sunday brunchin’ with your parents, this is the place to go. St. Leo offers tons of delicious drinks, including the adorable Prosecco pops! This restaurant is pricer, but still a great option. St. Leo’s Brunch runs from 11 am to 3 pm on Sundays.
