Easy Greek Yogurt Popsicles Perfect For Summer

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Oklahoma chapter.

Summers in Texas are hot, so my family tries to use our oven a little less during these couple of months. Instead of turning on our oven and baking a cookie or brownie recipe I made a freezer treat. These easy Greek yogurt popsicles require less than five ingredients and are perfect for a refreshing sweet snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add 6oz of yogurt into a medium bowl.

  2. Mix 4.5oz of creamy peanut butter into the yogurt. Feel free to add more or less depending on the flavor that you want.

  3. Kathryn Ward

Add 1/3 cup of Mu0026Ms to your mixture and mix until evenly distributed throughout.

  4. Spoon the mixture into the popsicle molds.

  5. In a separate medium bowl add 8oz of yogurt.

  6. Kathryn Ward

Add 1/3 cup of rainbow sprinkles and mix until blended evenly throughout.

  7. Spoon the mixture into the popsicle molds and place all of your popsicles into the freezer for at least seven hours to allow them to harden.

  8. Kathryn Ward

After seven hours, check the hardness of your popsicles. If they are frozen to your liking take them out and enjoy!

Although these do not compare to a gourmet popsicle that you would purchase at Steel City Pops or Berrynaked, they still do the job. This simple recipe is easy enough for anyone to make and satisfies the sweet tooth. Feel free to try different add-ins instead of the M&M’s or sprinkles to make your own popsicle creation.
