It’s the best time of year: summertime. And that means pool parties, ice cream, and poolside drinking. It also means one of the country’s proudest holidays: the 4th of July. And what’s the best way to mark America’s independence? With 4th of July popsicles.
Using the best fruit that summertime has to offer paired with the booziest of alcohols, these popsicles will keep you more lit than the fireworks your neighbor will set off until 3 am. The red and blue popsicles have been adapted from Real Simple, while I put my own twist on the Minimalist Baker’s white pop.

Blueberry Champagne Pops
Ingredients
Instructions
Put berries, lemon juice, and sugar in a blender or food processor and blend until liquified.
Slowly add champagne to the mixture and blend. Note: you HAVE to add in only a little bit at a time, otherwise the mixture will explode because of the carbonation.
Pour mixture into ice pops and freeze for at least 6 hours.
These 4th of July popsicles are so easy to make and even easier to eat. Celebrate Independence Day the way the Founding Fathers would have wanted you to: drunk and proud to be an American.
