Okay, listen up y’all. This cheesy pull-apart bread is easy AF to make. If you’re like my brother and got super excited about his cooking innovation of microwaving frozen meatballs, adding pasta sauce, microwaving for another minute, and then adding ricotta cheese to be ~fancy~, you can make this bread.
If you do not know that to make pasta you need water (shout out to my brother’s friend), you can still make this bread. It very barely counts as cooking, and I believe in you. You can totally do it. Trust me, you don’t want be like my brother or his friend, so take some baby steps and make this bread.
Also this recipe is extremely customizable. Do you love garlic? Chop some up and throw it in there. Hate colby jack cheese? Great, use cheddar or mozzarella — whatever your heart desires. Hate sourdough bread? Awesome, get Italian herb. You can add, you can subtract, you can substitute, and you really won’t ever go wrong.
It’s melted cheese, butter, and bread, so believe me there’s no way you could mess this up. Okay? Hype time over, you can do this.
Cheesy Pull-Apart Bread
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cut your loaf of bread length-wise and width-wise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
Cut your cheese into thin slices.
Stuff the cheese into the cuts in the bread (trust me, you’re going to want to stuff as much in there as possible because more cheese is happiness).
#SpoonTip: Sometimes the bread is gonna fall off, just put some cheese under it and stick it back on. It’ll bake totally fine.
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Cut up your green onions and throw them into the melted butter. Mix it together.
Drizzle the melted butter and green onions onto the bread, making sure to get spread it out so that almost every piece is covered in butter.
Cover the bread with tinfoil and pop it in the oven for about 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, uncover it and put it back in the oven for about another 5 minutes
#SpoonTip: If for some reason you don’t eat it all in one sitting, you can easily re-toast it in a toaster oven or in your conventional oven.
