Brunch at Bread Alone Bakery in Rhinebeck, NY

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Marist chapter.

If you’re a Marist Student and haven’t had the chance to visit Rhinebeck, NY, I would recommend doing so. The town of Rhinebeck offers a variety of places to eat, shop and take a break from campus life. My visit to Rhinebeck included a stop at Bread Alone Bakery, which served up a quaint brunch this weekend.

The menu offers a variety of items, including daily specials. For my visit, I opted for a brief bunch with my friends. My brunch began with the vegetarian version of the butternut squash soup accompanied with bread and an optional side of butter. My squash soup was a perfect accompaniment to the rainy and cold day I was in Rhinebeck.

The next dish for my brunch consisted of the special quiche. My quiche included kale, onions and Gruyere cheese with a light salad with dressing.

Overall I had a very positive experience and would recommend to any Marist Student to make a visit to Bread Alone Bakery, only a quick drive from campus.
