White Chocolate Chip Matcha Cookies

I love cookies. There, I said it. So imagine how beautiful the day was when I found out green tea could be added into cookie batter to make matcha cookies. This recipe is simple, light, and heavenly. If you’re a Matcha person or a cookie person, this is for you.

White Chocolate Matcha Cookies

    Whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. Vernell Dunams

    In a separate bowl, beat melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.

  3. Vernell Dunams

    Add 1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk to the wet ingredients. Beat longer to incorporate air and to make the mixture fluffy.

    Mix the dry mixture into the wet mixture slowly, folding one into another.

    #SpoonTip: If the mixture appears somewhat runny, add in more flour and more Matcha.

    Fold in white chocolate chips.
