I love cookies. There, I said it. So imagine how beautiful the day was when I found out green tea could be added into cookie batter to make matcha cookies. This recipe is simple, light, and heavenly. If you’re a Matcha person or a cookie person, this is for you.
White Chocolate Matcha Cookies
Ingredients
Instructions
Whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
Add 1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk to the wet ingredients. Beat longer to incorporate air and to make the mixture fluffy.
Mix the dry mixture into the wet mixture slowly, folding one into another.
#SpoonTip: If the mixture appears somewhat runny, add in more flour and more Matcha.
Fold in white chocolate chips.
Drop by the spoonful onto a lined baking tray, and bake in a 325°F oven for 15-20 minutes.
