Hot, Melty, Cheesy Artichoke Dip

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at IU chapter.

From my grandmother’s kitchen to yours, this artichoke dip has long been a crowd favorite. It is a fact of football season that every tailgate needs a proper dip and this one more than qualifies. Consisting of only five ingredients, this spread is a promised touchdown for your taste buds. Make it once and your tailgating cohorts will be cheering for more. Chips, carrots, celery, bread, crackers and Sinless Sides are all worthy vehicles for this party in your insides dish.

Easy

Prep time: 10 minutes
Bake time: 20 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

12 oz can artichokes in water
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Take artichokes out of water and chop finely. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE ARTICHOKE WATER. You’ll need it later.

**Keep your dish warm on the way over to the field by covering it and wrapping it in a kitchen towel.
