Soma Has the Perfect Holiday Drinks

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at IU chapter.

It’s freezing outside and there’s no doubt you are craving something hot and delicious. You want coffee, but maybe something a little different and worth your money. Enter Soma, your one-stop place for all types of drinks.

Since it is the holiday season, I thought I would share Soma’s best holiday drinks. I personally got to sample their three most popular ones, and each has a unique flavor.

The Drinks

The Cozy Cabin

This drinks definitely lives up to its epic name. A cup of this blend of coffee and cinnamon flavoring warms you right up. It is sure to make your a day a little better and bring some warmth to the bitter cold of Indiana weather.

The Chocolate Candy Cane

This was by far my favorite because it had my favorite ingredient: chocolate. (Chocolate-lovers unite!) This drink is the perfect blend of espresso, chocolate, and candy canes.  Essentially, it is a caffeinated hot chocolate made festive.

The Cinnamon Orange Spice Latte

I predicted I would not like this, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this drink. It combines the unlikely flavors of citrus and cinnamon with black tea. This is a great drink for those who prefer tea over coffee. But coffee-addicts should also give it a try!

Bloomington has an abundance of great eats and drinks. Whether you’re a student, parent, or alumni, be sure to check out Soma Coffeehouse. With two locations, one on Kirkwood and the other on 3rd Street, it’s the perfect place to study, have a meeting, or just enjoy a cup of coffee.

Words to describe me: Feminist, Dark-Chocolate Lover, Hustle-Mentality. I am so excited to share my passion for food and writing!!
