Waffle Ironed Apple Slices with Nutella, Peanut Butter Dip

Apple picking season has finally arrived but what are you going to do with all those apples?  Try something different and throw ’em in a waffle iron!  Waffle iron baked apples are fun, easy and take no effort.  But what would they be without the delicious Nutella, peanut butter dip?  The pairing of a warm, sweet apple slice coated in a thick Nutella, peanut butter swirl is simply, perfection.  So embrace the fall season and let the aroma of those sizzlin’ apple slices fill your kitchen.

Waffle Ironed Apple Slices with Nutella, Peanut Butter Dip

  1. Heat waffle Iron and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

    Cut apples into 1/4 inch thick slices.

    Optionally rub both sides of apple slices with brown sugar.

    Place one apple slice in each section of the waffle iron.

    Close the waffle iron and cook for about 2 minutes or until the apples look waffled.

    With peanut butter and Nutella in a bowl, pour over some coconut milk and mix together.
